Key Responsibilities

Diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on commercial vehicles
Repair or replace defective parts including engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension, and exhaust systems
Conduct MOT / safety inspections and prepare vehicles for testing (where applicable)
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve faults
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and manufacturer standards
Respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs when required
Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe
