Customer Service Engineer (Mechanical) - Job Description

Principal Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform the installation and commissioning at customer sites, ensuring they are set up to

meet performance standards

• Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting support for machinery-related issues

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide timely solutions

• Conduct training sessions for customers on machine operation, maintenance procedures

and safety protocols

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their technical

concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

• Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, maintenance and customer feedback.

Prepare service reports and provide feedback to the engineering department for product

improvements

• Advise customers on necessary spare parts, product upgrades and available enhancements

to improve machine performance

• From time-to-time, support production team by overseeing the installation, testing and

maintenance of electrical equipment and systems

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma / degree in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 2-3 years of experience in servicing or troubleshooting textile machinery or any

capital industrial equipment

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and machinery

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems (added advantage)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively

with customers and understand their needs

• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, both locally and internationally, as

required

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, with the possibility of overtime depending on customer requirements

• Frequent travel to customer sites, including occasional overnight stays
