A Rock Breaker Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic rock breakers and related attachments used in construction, mining, and demolition operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and commission hydraulic rock breakers on excavators and other carriers
Perform routine servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance
Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and structural issues
Replace seals, chisels, hoses, pistons, and other wear parts
Conduct on-site breakdown repairs to minimize equipment downtime
Ensure proper breaker pressure, flow settings, and lubrication systems
Follow safety standards and manufacturer guidelines strictly
Provide technical support and usage guidance to operators and clients
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Hydraulic, or related field
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and heavy equipment
Experience with rock breakers or construction attachments preferred
Willingness to travel to job sites
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Excavator Service Engineer
An Mini Excavator Service Engineer is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing the performance of excavators to ensure safe and efficient operation at construction and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing of excavators
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults
Inspect engines, pumps, valves, cylinders, undercarriage, and attachments
Handle breakdown services and emergency repairs at customer sites
Conduct machine commissioning and operational testing
Maintain service logs, inspection reports, and spare parts usage
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Train operators on proper machine operation and daily checks
Coordinate with spare parts and technical support teams
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/ITI in Mechanical / Automobile / Heavy Equipment Engineering
Hands-on experience with excavators and earthmoving machinery
Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
Ability to troubleshoot under field conditions
Good customer-handling and communication skills
Willingness to work at multiple job locations
