Designation: Service Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines used in
agricultural and farm machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engine-related issues, ensuring prompt and
effective repairs.
• Provide service and maintenance for various machinery components, ensuring
they meet operational standards.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid potential issues and downtime.
• Utilize technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and expertise to identify and resolve
technical problems efficiently.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments for complex problem-
solving.
• Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities performed on
diesel engines and machineries.
• Provide detailed reports on repairs, replacements, and parts usage.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on engines and
machineries.
• Ensure that all service activities comply with industry safety standards.
• Communicate with customers to understand their concerns, provide updates
on service activities, and address any queries.
• Demonstrate a customer-centric approach in service delivery.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in diesel engine technology and
agricultural machinery.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualification
• ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Diesel Engine Mechanic or a
related field.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in servicing diesel engines, preferably in the
agricultural machinery industry.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with various diesel engine brands and models.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to diesel engine service and machinery
maintenance.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education: ITI or relevant Experience
