Job Summary

Infocus Security Solutions is looking for a skilled and responsible Service Engineer to install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain security products such as Godrej Safe Lockers, Digital Locks, CCTV Systems, Video Door Phones (VDP), and Burglar Alarms.
The ideal candidate should be technically sound, customer-focused, and capable of handling field service operations independently.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning

• Install and commission Godrej Safe Lockers (mechanical & digital) at customer locations.

• Install and configure CCTV systems, Video Door Phones, Digital Locks, and Burglar Alarms.

• Ensure proper demonstration and handover to customers after installation.

Service & Maintenance

• Attend service complaints within defined TAT.

• Diagnose and rectify faults in lockers, CCTV, and electronic security systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance and periodic service visits.

• Handle warranty and chargeable service calls professionally.

Customer Handling

• Interact politely with customers and explain technical issues in simple language.

• Maintain transparency during service visits and follow company SOPs.

• Obtain customer signatures and feedback after job completion.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare job cards, service reports, and site visit documentation.

• Update service status regularly to the office/service coordinator.

• Record spare parts usage accurately.

Compliance & Discipline

• Follow Godrej and Infocus Security Solutions service guidelines.

• Adhere to safety procedures and company ethics.

• Maintain tools, uniforms, and company property responsibly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / BE in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.

• Minimum 0–2 years experience in security systems or field service, Freshers can Apply.

• Knowledge of:

  • Safe lockers (key, combination, electronic)

  • CCTV cameras & DVR/NVR

  • Video Door Phones & Access Control

• Basic networking knowledge is an advantage.

• Valid two-wheeler license preferred.

• Willingness to travel within Chennai and nearby areas.

Personal Attributes

• Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.

• Good communication skills in Tamil (English is an advantage).

• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
