Job Description:

• Welcome customers and understand their vehicle/service requirements.

• Prepare Job Cards with accurate customer and vehicle details.

• Inspect the vehicle and explain required service/repair work to the customer.

• Provide estimated cost and delivery time before starting additional work.

• Coordinate with technicians and monitor the vehicle’s service progress.

• Regularly update customers about the service status.

• Recommend genuine Yamaha parts, periodic maintenance and additional required jobs.

• Conduct vehicle inspection and quality checks before delivery.

• Explain completed work and invoice details to the customer at delivery.

• Ensure timely delivery of vehicles as committed.

• Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure proper resolution.

• Make service follow-up calls and collect customer feedback.

• Maintain customer records and update service history in the DMS/CRM.

• Generate repeat service business through proper follow-ups and reminders.

• Achieve service revenue, customer satisfaction and retention targets.

• Coordinate with the Service Manager, technicians, spare-parts team and CRM team.

Key Responsibilities for Service Centre Growth

1. Increase repeat customers through follow-up calls.

2. Improve service retention and customer revisit ratio.

3. Promote periodic service and preventive maintenance.

4. Increase labour and parts sales through genuine recommendations.

5. Reduce customer complaints and improve CSI.

6. Call customers whose service is due and generate appointments.

7. Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction.

8. Maintain accurate customer and vehicle data.

Required Skills

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Basic knowledge of two-wheelers and automobile servicing.

• Good convincing and sales skills.

• Basic computer/DMS/CRM knowledge.

• Ability to coordinate with technicians and other departments.

• Problem-solving and complaint-handling skills.

• Target-oriented and customer-focused approach.

Experience: 1–3 years in automobile service/advisor role preferred.

Qualification: 12th pass / Diploma / Graduate; Automobile Diploma preferred.
