Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complete fabrication operations for switchgear and electrical panel manufacturing.

• Supervise welding, bending, cutting, assembly, and sheet metal fabrication activities.

• Ensure production targets are achieved within timelines and quality standards.

• Handle manpower planning, machine utilization, and shop-floor management.

• Coordinate with production, design, quality, and procurement teams.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturing processes.

• Monitor fabrication quality and reduce production wastage.

• Maintain proper documentation and reporting for fabrication activities.

• Train and guide fabrication supervisors, welders, and operators.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and switchgear manufacturing

• Experience in welding, CNC bending, cutting, and fabrication machinery

• Production planning and fabrication process management

• Team handling and leadership skills

• Quality control and process improvement

• Good communication and coordination abilities

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering

• Experience in switchgear, panel manufacturing, or electrical industry preferred

• Strong understanding of fabrication drawings and manufacturing processes

• Immediate joiners preferred
