Job Title: Fabricator

Project : Onshore Oil & Gas Project

Employment Type: Contract Basis

Work Location: OMAN/Onshore

Job Responsibilities

Carry out fabrication of structural steel, piping supports, skids, platforms, ladders, and handrails as per approved drawings.

Perform cutting, grinding, bending, fitting, and assembly of steel materials.

Read and interpret fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, and specifications.

Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, and quality before welding and installation.

Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and QC personnel to ensure smooth workflow.

Use fabrication tools and equipment safely, including gas cutting sets, grinders, and measuring instruments.

Follow project HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures at all times.

Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.

Meet daily productivity targets as per site requirements.

Job Requirements

Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Fabricator in onshore oil & gas or industrial project.

Ability to read and understand fabrication and structural drawings.

Experience in handling carbon steel and structural materials.

Knowledge of standard fabrication tolerances and oil & gas site practices.

Physically fit to work in site conditions.

Safety awareness and ability to follow site rules.

Preferred Skills

Experience in oil & gas EPC or refinery projects.

Familiarity with international standards and site quality requirements.

Team-oriented and disciplined approach to work.
