Electrical car mechanic

AUTOMOTIVE ACCESSORIES TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Install a wide range of automotive accessories (e.g., device holders, Pro clips, leather mounts, antenna & mount accessories, remote starters, dash cams, GPS systems, backup cameras, LED lighting, alarms, etc.).

2. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to installed accessories.

3. Follow schematics, manuals, and technical instructions for proper installations.

4. Maintain clean and organized workstations.

5. Ensure customer vehicles are protected during installation and returned in pristine condition.

6. Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding installation details and product usage.

7. Maintain accurate records of installations, parts used, and work completed.

8. Stay updated on new accessories, tools, and installation techniques.

9. Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:-

1. High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).

2. 1+ years of experience in automotive accessory installation or related field.

3. Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems and components.

4. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

6. Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

1. 12V electrical systems knowledge.

2. Experience with car audio and custom installation.

3. ASE or MECP certification (a plus).
