1. Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Evaluation Expert to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility will be to visit customer locations and conduct thorough on-site inspections of vehicles to assess damage, identify technical issues, and estimate repair costs. This role is strictly a field evaluation position and requires deep technical knowledge of vehicle anatomy without any Service Advisor or Plant/Manufacturing background.
2. Key Responsibilities
On-Site Inspections: Travel to customer locations to perform detailed physical inspections of vehicles.
Technical Diagnosis: Evaluate and identify issues in the vehicle's key components including chassis, body panels, paint quality, engine, clutch, gearbox, brakes, and suspension systems.
Damage Assessment: Accurately assess the extent of damage and determine the root cause of technical failures.
Cost Estimation: Prepare precise estimates for repair costs based on the inspection findings and industry standards.
Digital Reporting: Capture high-quality images of damaged/affected parts using the company application; ensure all reports are submitted properly and promptly on the app.
Documentation: Ensure the timely and accurate submission of all inspection reports and data via the mobile application.
Communication: Liaise with customers professionally at their premises, clearly explaining the inspection process and findings (requires basic English communication).
3. Qualifications & Requirements
A. Experience
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a Technician in an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) workshop or dealership.
Strict Exclusion: Candidates with experience as a Service Advisor or background in Plant/Manufacturing will not be considered for this role.
B. Education
ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification, or
Diploma Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
C. Technical Skills
In-depth knowledge of vehicle structures including:
Chassis and Body Panels
Paint and Surface Finishing
Engine Mechanics and Performance
Clutch, Gearbox, and Transmission Systems
Braking Systems and Suspension Geometry.
D. Soft Skills & Physical Requirements
Driving: Must possess a valid Driving License and have proven experience driving both 2-wheelers and 4-wheelers.
Language: Ability to read and understand basic English (to navigate the app and fill out digital reports).
Compliance: Must be comfortable with field work and visiting customer premises.
