ATM Field Engineer – Job Description

Role: ATM Field Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain ATM machines.

• Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues at ATM sites.

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine health checks.

• Replace faulty ATM components such as card readers, cash dispensers, printers, and power supplies.

• Ensure ATM uptime by responding to service calls within the defined SLA.

• Coordinate with the technical support team for complex issues.

• Maintain service reports and update job status through the company's service portal or mobile application.

• Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures while working at customer locations.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking.

• Understanding of ATM hardware and peripherals (preferred).

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

Qualification:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• Freshers can apply (training is often provided), though prior field service experience is an advantage.

Preferred Requirements:

• Two-wheeler with a valid driving licence (often preferred or required).

• Ability to work in rotational shifts and on-call support if needed.
