Job Summary

Cars24 is hiring Evaluation Engineers for the Mumbai location. The role involves performing detailed inspections of used cars, identifying technical issues, and preparing accurate evaluation reports as per Cars24 standards. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with an interest in automobile inspection and technical analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed physical and technical inspections of used vehicles.

• Evaluate engine performance, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, and overall car condition.

• Identify accidental damage, repaint, bodywork, and mechanical faults.

• Perform test drives to assess vehicle functionality and performance.

• Prepare accurate inspection reports using Cars24 tools and applications.

• Coordinate with the Operations and Retail teams to ensure smooth workflow.

• Maintain high inspection quality, accuracy, and compliance with company guidelines.

• Assist customers in understanding inspection results when required.

• Ensure vehicle safety, cleanliness, and process adherence at the inspection site.

Skills & Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical (preferred).

• Basic to good knowledge of four-wheeler components and automotive systems.

• Ability to identify technical issues in used vehicles.

• Must be able to drive both manual & automatic cars.

• Valid Driving License (mandatory).

• Strong observation, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to learn and grow in the automobile industry.
