Job Description – Two-Wheeler Mechanic

Position: Two-Wheeler Mechanic
Location: Marathahalli, Bangalore
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–5 Years (Experienced with relevant ITI certification can also apply)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Two-Wheeler Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and service motorcycles and scooters. The ideal candidate should have good technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering quality service and customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in two-wheelers.

• Perform periodic maintenance and general servicing.

• Repair or replace defective engine, transmission, brake, clutch, suspension, and electrical components.

• Inspect vehicles and identify required repairs.

• Carry out engine overhauling and minor/major repairs as required.

• Ensure all repairs are completed within the committed turnaround time.

• Test ride vehicles after service to ensure proper functioning.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop.

• Record service details and maintain job cards.

• Coordinate with the service advisor regarding repair status and spare parts requirements.

• Follow company SOPs and safety guidelines during repairs.

• Support customers by explaining repair work when required.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of two-wheeler engine systems and vehicle diagnostics.

• Understanding of electrical wiring and battery systems.

• Ability to use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Basic communication and teamwork skills.

• Time management and attention to detail.

Qualification

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering preferred.

• SSLC/PUC with relevant mechanical experience may also apply.

Experience

• 1–5 years of experience in servicing and repairing motorcycles and scooters.

• Freshers with ITI in Automobile/Mechanical are encouraged to apply.
