About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Corporate Merchandiser who will be responsible for sourcing, developing, costing, and executing corporate merchandise, promotional products, gifting solutions, and customized branding materials for clients.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of the corporate gifting and promotional merchandise market, vendor management skills, costing knowledge, and the ability to manage projects from requirement to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Requirement Understanding

Understand client requirements for corporate gifts, merchandise and promotional products.

Suggest suitable products based on budget, quantity, branding requirements and timelines.

Develop customized merchandise options and product presentations for clients.

Coordinate with the sales/team to prepare quotations and proposals.

2. Product Sourcing & Vendor Management

Source products from existing and new vendors/manufacturers.

Identify competitive pricing and negotiate rates with suppliers.

Maintain a strong vendor network for corporate gifting and promotional merchandise.

Compare multiple vendor quotations and finalize the most suitable option.

Coordinate for samples, product quality and customization.

3. Product Development

Work on customized products such as:

Corporate Gift Sets

T-Shirts & Apparel

Caps

Bags & Backpacks

Diaries & Notebooks

Mugs & Bottles

Pens & Stationery

Awards & Trophies

Tech Accessories

Employee Joining Kits

Festival Hampers

Promotional Products

Customized Merchandise

Event Giveaways

Explore new and trending merchandise products regularly.

4. Costing & Quotations

Prepare accurate product costing and BOQs.

Calculate product cost, branding cost, packaging, logistics, GST and margins.

Ensure quotations are commercially viable and competitive.

Track changes in vendor pricing and market rates.

5. Order & Production Management

Coordinate with vendors after PO/order confirmation.

Share approved artwork/designs with vendors.

Monitor production timelines and ensure timely dispatch.

Follow up for samples and approvals before bulk production.

Conduct quality checks before dispatch wherever required.

Coordinate logistics and delivery to the required location.

6. Internal Coordination

Coordinate with Sales, Creative/Design, Operations, Accounts and Vendors.

Maintain proper records of quotations, samples, POs, invoices and deliveries.

Ensure all project details are communicated clearly to the execution team.

7. Market Research

Regularly research new corporate merchandise and gifting trends.

Identify new suppliers, manufacturers and innovative products.

Maintain a database of products with specifications and indicative pricing.

Track competitor offerings and market pricing.

Required Skills

Strong vendor negotiation skills.

Good knowledge of corporate gifting and promotional merchandise.

Strong costing and quotation preparation skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Strong follow-up and vendor management skills.

Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Commercial understanding and attention to detail.

Qualification

Minimum: Graduate in any discipline.

Candidates with relevant experience in merchandising, corporate gifting, procurement, advertising or event management will be preferred.

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹25000 per month, depending on experience and skills.

Immediate joiners / candidates with strong vendor contacts will be preferred.
