Responsibilities of the Intern:
Collect buyer databases from embassies, chambers of commerce, B2B portals, Yellow Pages directories, exhibition lists, e-marketplaces, LinkedIn, etc.
Contact potential buyers and generate sales inquiries
Prepare price quotations with proper export costing calculations (logistics, insurance, CFA charges, etc.)
Negotiate trade payment terms and close deals
Analyze market trends and compile country-specific product and market data in Excel
Create product catalogues using Canva or similar tools
Requirements:
Research exportable trending products
Identify a low-value, high-margin export product from India
Contact suppliers/manufacturers to collect pricing, brochures, and catalogs
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Basic knowledge of export documentation and costing (preferred)
