Technical Skills

• TIG/Argon welding expertise on stainless steel, aluminum, mild steel, and other metals

• Reading and understanding engineering drawings and blueprints

• Knowledge of welding symbols and measurements

• Ability to set up and operate:

  • TIG welding machines

  • Gas regulators

  • Torches and filler rods

• Understanding of:

  • Heat control

  • Weld penetration

  • Distortion prevention

• Grinding, polishing, and finishing welded surfaces

• Pipe welding and sheet metal welding

• Performing weld inspections and quality checks

Safety Skills

• Proper use of PPE (helmet, gloves, safety shoes, goggles)

• Knowledge of welding safety standards

• Gas cylinder handling and fire prevention

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
