ITI Welder – Job Description

Position: ITI Welder
Department: Production / Fabrication
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
Employment Type: Full-Time 12 hours rotational shift
Qualification: ITI – Welder Trade (NCVT/SCVT preferred)
Experience: 0–3 Years; Fresher ITI Welder can also apply

Job Responsibilities

• Perform Arc / MIG / Gas welding as per production requirements.

• Weld MS components, solar mounting structures and fabricated parts as per drawing and specifications.

• Read and understand basic engineering drawings, dimensions and welding symbols.

• Perform tack welding, joint preparation and final welding.

• Ensure proper alignment, dimensions and welding quality of components.

• Operate welding machine, grinder, cutting tools and other fabrication equipment safely.

• Identify and rectify common welding defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut and incomplete joints.

• Perform grinding, finishing and cleaning of welded components.

• Check welded parts visually and ensure they meet quality requirements.

• Maintain proper welding parameters according to material thickness and job requirements.

• Keep welding machines, tools and work area clean and in good condition.

• Follow PPE, fire-safety and other plant safety procedures strictly.

• Report machine/tool problems, material issues and quality defects to the supervisor.

• Maintain production targets and minimize welding rejection and rework.

• Follow 5S and housekeeping standards in the work area.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of welding basics and welding equipment.

• Ability to work with MS/steel components.

• Basic knowledge of measurement tools such as measuring tape, vernier and scale.

• Ability to understand basic drawings and dimensions.

• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to welding quality.

• Knowledge of welding safety and PPE.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment.

Preferred

• Experience in fabrication, solar structures, steel structures or manufacturing industry.

• Knowledge of MIG welding will be an advantage.

• Experience in welding structural components will be preferred.

Candidate Profile: We are looking for a disciplined and hardworking ITI Welder who can maintain good welding quality while achieving daily production targets and following safety standards.

• It is a Full Time తయారీ job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
