VMC Programmer

We are looking for a VMC Programmer to join our team Precision Engineering Company for an experienced VMC Programmer with strong expertise in Mastercam to develop, optimize, and support VMC machining programs for precision production components. The candidate should have hands-on experience in production machining of engineering components.

Key Responsibilities:

• MasterCAM NX, MasterCAM 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025.

Develop VMC programs for 3-Axis/4-Axis VMC machines using Mastercam.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and process sheets.

• Prepare machining strategies for production components with optimum cycle time.

• Select cutting tools, fixtures, holders, feeds, and speeds for efficient machining.

• Conduct program simulation, prove-out, and validation before production release.

• Optimize machining parameters to improve productivity, tool life, and quality.

• Support machine setup and first-piece approval.

• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues during production.

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth manufacturing.

• Ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.

• Maintain VMC program database, setup sheets, and process documentation.

• Follow 5S, Safety, ISO, and Quality Management System requirements.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, cycle time, and machining cost.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is 10th, 12th, ITI & Diploma in Mechanical and 3 yrs to 6 + yrs in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
