Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate VMC/CNC machines according to work instructions.
Load raw materials and unload finished components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
Monitor machine operations and make minor offset adjustments when required.
Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
Ensure products meet dimensional and quality specifications.
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
Report machine faults, tool wear, or quality issues to supervisors.
Maintain production records and inspection reports.
Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
Keep the work area clean and organized (5S practices).
Required Skills:
Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operation.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T (preferred).
Familiarity with measuring instruments.
Basic understanding of CNC programs and machine offsets.
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in shifts and meet production deadlines.
