Key Responsibilities
Production Support
Assist in the manufacturing of various types of electrical capacitors, including AC capacitors, motor run capacitors, motor start capacitors, monoblock capacitors, heavy-duty capacitors, and submersible panel capacitors.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Support production planning to achieve daily production targets.
Record production data and prepare daily production reports.
Ensure proper utilization of machines, materials, and manpower.
Quality Control
Assist in performing routine electrical and mechanical quality inspections.
Participate in testing of capacitance, insulation resistance, leakage current, voltage withstand, dissipation factor, and other electrical parameters.
Identify defects and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure products comply with company quality standards and customer specifications.
Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
Maintenance Support
Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and testing equipment.
Report equipment abnormalities immediately.
Support calibration activities for measuring instruments and testing equipment.
Help minimize machine downtime through timely maintenance activities.
Process Improvement
Observe manufacturing processes and recommend productivity improvements.
Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in reducing production losses, rejection rates, and material wastage.
Documentation
Maintain production logs, inspection reports, maintenance records, and daily activity reports.
Prepare technical documentation as assigned by senior engineers.
Ensure proper record keeping in accordance with ISO and company standards.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Follow all plant safety rules and electrical safety practices.
Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area.
Comply with company policies, statutory regulations, and environmental standards.
Learning & Development
Participate in technical training sessions conducted by the company.
Develop knowledge of capacitor manufacturing processes, raw materials, testing methods, and quality systems.
Learn operation of production machinery, testing equipment, and maintenance procedures.
Continuously enhance technical and professional skills.
Required Qualifications
B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Freshers are preferred. Candidates with up to one year of manufacturing experience may also apply.
