Sr Purchase Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Purchase Engineer to handle purchasing and supplier development for casting and engineering components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source suppliers for castings, forgings, machined parts, and steel castings.

• Handle purchasing of CI, SGCI, carbon steel, LM25, and LM6 casting materials.

• Obtain and evaluate quotations and prepare price comparison sheets.

• Negotiate prices and implement cost-saving initiatives.

• Develop new suppliers and evaluate supplier performance.

• Coordinate with Quality, Production, and suppliers to ensure component quality and timely delivery.

• Generate purchase orders and maintain procurement reports.

• Conduct supplier visits and resolve supply-related issues.

Required Skills:

• Experience in purchase and procurement of casting components.

• Knowledge of casting materials and manufacturing processes.

• Good negotiation, supplier development, and vendor management skills.

• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to meet production requirements.
