Service engineer

1. Installation & Commissioning

• Install industrial cleaning and air-filtration equipment at customer sites.

• Test machines after installation.

• Ensure proper functioning before handover.

• Provide basic operational training to customers.

2. Preventive Maintenance

• Perform scheduled maintenance visits.

• Inspect equipment regularly.

• Replace worn-out parts and consumables.

• Ensure machines operate efficiently.

3. Troubleshooting & Repair

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.

• Repair defective equipment.

• Replace damaged components.

• Attend breakdown calls and minimize downtime.

4. Customer Support

• Respond to customer service requests.

• Resolve technical issues on-site.

• Provide guidance on equipment usage.

• Maintain good customer relationships.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare service reports after each visit.

• Record maintenance and repair activities.

• Update service records and logs.

• Submit reports to supervisors.

6. Spare Parts Management

• Identify required spare parts.

• Maintain stock of frequently used components.

• Coordinate with stores/procurement teams.

• Track spare parts usage.

7. Safety Compliance

• Follow company safety procedures.

• Use appropriate PPE during service work.

• Ensure safe operation of equipment.

• Comply with customer site safety regulations.

8. Technical Support

• Assist customers in operating equipment.

• Explain maintenance requirements.

• Support warranty and service-related issues.

• Provide technical recommendations when needed.
