Sr. Engineer- Wiring Harness Design Function Research & Development - Jaipur Pay Band E4 to M2 Role Sr. Engineer- Wiring Harness Design A purpose driven role for you The Wiring Harness Design Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end development, architecture, and integration of the electrical distribution system for next-generation electric two/three/four-wheelers. The role bridges the gap between ECAD (schematics) and MCAD (3D routing/packaging) to deliver a safe, reliable, thermally optimized, and manufacturable wiring harness that seamlessly integrates with EV components. A Day in the life Electrical layout & 3D routing Component Selection, Schematics & Simulation Manufacturing Liaison & Quality Documentation & PLM Management Testing, Validation & Prototyping Academic Qualification & Experience B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with a strong electrical background. Technical Skills/Knowledge MCAD Mastery: CATIA V5 (Electrical Harness Module) ECAD Competency: Schematic creation & circuit simulation Analytical Rigor: GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up, Component Expertise: Connector, terminal, and fuse selection DFMEA & DVP Development Cost Reduction Execution Behavioural Skills Effective team player and ability to lead/ mentor group of engineer.
