SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling Consultant

SAP PPDS Consultant • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PPDS, including configuration, integration, and support. • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded PPDS, APO PPDS. • Strong working knowledge of CIF (Core Interface) and its role in master data and transaction data transfer. • Basic understanding or exposure to SAP Demand Planning (DP) processes & BW. • Solid understanding of manufacturing execution, capacity planning, MRP, and supply chain processes. • Proven ability to troubleshoot issues across integrated systems and provide efficient resolutions. • Experience in Process Manufacturing environments. • Familiarity with PP/DS on S/4HANA embedded systems. • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. We are seeking an experienced SAP ePPDS Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA ePPDS, and strong familiarity with CIF (Core Interface) integration. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, roll-outs environments and a solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations. While we work in accordance with business requirements, we shall strive to offer you the location of your choice, where possible. • Detailed hands-on / Customizing knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana ePPDS. • Experience in Block planning, Setup matrix, Campaign planning, MRP areas, External procurement relationships, Planning heuristics, DS heuristics & Optimizer. • Configure, implement, and support SAP PP/DS solutions, including Heuristics, Optimization, and Detailed Scheduling strategies. • Knowledge and experience of master data distribution of Work centers / Resources, Production versions/PDS, Capacities, Time-streams, CIF. • Knowledge of working with Process orders/Planned orders, Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Version. • Specifically, MRP, Configurations like Planning board, DS board, Different profiles, PPDS Subcontracting process, Alerts configuration monitoring. • Analyze and optimize planning processes (MTS, MTO), production planning strategies, and scheduling parameters. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align PPDS configuration with business requirements. • Assist with or support activities related to SAP Demand Planning (DP) as needed. • Integration of S/4 Hana PPDS with Kinaxis Planning. • Conduct workshops, system testing, user training, and provide post-implementation support during Hypercare. • Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical teams for custom developments and enhancements.
