Job Description: Business Development Executive/ASM (Solar Projects)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team, specializing in solar energy solutions. The role involves developing business opportunities for on-grid, off-grid, rooftop, and ground-mounted solar projects, catering to both commercial and residential clients. Professionals from non-solar fields with a passion for renewable energy, as well as candidates with experience in electrical, mechanical, cabling, or Telecom sales, are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales:
Ø Identify and target potential clients in the commercial and residential sectors.
Ø Develop strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
Ø Generate leads and convert them into long-term clients for solar projects.
Project-Specific Sales:
Ø Promote on-grid and off-grid solar solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Ø Drive sales for rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
Ø Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and assess client needs.
Ø Stay updated on industry trends, government incentives, and policies related to solar energy.
Technical Collaboration:
Ø Coordinate with technical teams for project proposals and solution design.
Ø Explain technical aspects of solar solutions to clients.
Cross-Industry Opportunities:
Ø Leverage expertise in electrical, mechanical, or cabling fields to expand sales channels.
Ø Collaborate with B2B partners to create synergies for solar project implementations.
Client Management & Negotiation:
Ø Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Ø Negotiate contracts, pricing, and project timelines to close deals effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background:
Ø Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Business Administration, or a related field.
Ø Candidates from non-solar backgrounds are welcome if interested in the renewable energy industry.
Experience:
Ø 3-5 years in business development, sales, or related roles.
Ø Prior experience in solar energy, electrical, mechanical, cabling, or Candidates with experience in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably holding a B.Com, B.Sc, IT, Engineering, or Electrical background, are preferred sales is an advantage.
Skills:
Ø Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ø Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
Ø Proficiency in market research and analysis.
Ø Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
