R-Flow Development - EDD Function Research & Development - Jaipur Pay Band M3 to M5 Role R-Flow Development - EDD A purpose driven role for you Coordinate & work closely with CoCs to align & deliver Engine Research flows with the organization priorities. Strong understanding of future Engine technologies and in-depth knowledge of Engine subsystems i.e. engine components i.e. Crankcases, Cylinder Head, cylinder block, crankshaft, con rod, piston, bearing, valve train, rocker shaft, cam train, balancer system, air intake system, Muffler, transmission, shift system design, starter system, radiator, chain &tensioner system, oil seals, clutch, throttle body, CVT system etc. To define & review the Rflow new requirements (RFQ, Technology Roadmaps, etc) and drive technology incubation with hands-on execution (with internal CoCs & external partners) Monitor & track the R-flow progress, create visibility of the R-Flow status through review meetings with CFTs. Ensure Communication flow, Priority & schedule management, Commercials tracking, Escalation process, Management reports for the R-Flows Support collaboration with Technology partners to incubate upcoming technology and mobility solutions. Identify new R-Flow opportunities aligned with the Tech roadmap.  Knowledge of basic Design tools & prior experience of working as designer, preferably automotive OEM or Tier 1. A Day in the life Define SoR for new Rflow & establish new/impactful Rflow that help HMCL gain strategic edge. Initiate & Review the progress of R-Flows through scheduled meetings Develop action plans with target dates and ensure completion of identified tasks Identify & implement in Dflows with smooth handover to MLH along with display of POCs. Tech exploration & Innovation for newer technologies/ applications Generate IP for new Technologies with internal/external stakeholders for new technologies Ensure innovation/ upcoming mobility concept implementation Academic Qualification & Experience 13-17 yrs experience in Automotive Industry Engineering Diploma/B.E/B. Tech/ M Tech (Mechanical Engineering) Technical Skills/Knowledge ● Knowledge and proven experience in 2W Engine Design ● Expertise on design software preferably CATIA & Team centre (PLM). ● Expertise on hand calculation sheets (Design calculations), stack up calculations etc. ● Exposure on other design/simulation software will be additional advantage. ● Sound knowledge on global technology trends ● High level of production/manufacturing understanding ● Familiar and experienced in using presentation.
