Roles & Responsibilities of Quality Manager -2(Alam pur)
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI Act, rules, and regulations
• Establish, implement, and maintain Food Safety Management System (FSMS) Identify food safety hazards and control HACCP plan, CCPs/OPRPs
• Ensure implementation of GMP, GHP, and SOPs
• Approve raw material and packaging material suppliers
• Ensure verification of incoming materials (FSSAI license, batch no., expiry date, COA)
• Monitor production processes for quality and food safety compliance
• Supervise in-process and finished product quality checks
• Review and approve laboratory test results
• Control non-conforming products and corrective actions
• Maintain quality documents, records, and formats
• Conduct internal audits and follow up on CAPA
• Coordinate external audits and regulatory inspections
• Handle customer complaints and implement corrective actions
• Manage product recall and withdrawal procedures
• Ensure product traceability and record retention
• Train employees on food safety, hygiene, and quality systems
• Lead the Food Safety Team
• Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and pest control activities
• Participate in management review meetings
• Drive continual improvement in food safety and quality
• Report food safety issues to top management
• Handle food safety incidents and emergencies
