Conduct inspections of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
Ensure all goods meet specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
Identify defects and communicate findings to production and purchase teams.
Approve or reject materials based on quality guidelines.
Lead and guide QC inspectors/technicians.
Allocate daily tasks and monitor inspection activities.
Train team members on inspection methods, tools, and SOPs.
Maintain QC reports, inspection checklists, rejection logs, and NCR (Non-Conformance Reports).
Prepare daily/weekly quality MIS for management review.
Ensure traceability and proper documentation for audits.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to SOPs.
Work with production to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
Support development of new quality standards and continuous improvement.
Investigate quality issues reported by customers.
Identify root causes and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
Coordinate with sales/service teams to provide resolutions.
Ensure quality standards are aligned with ISO/industry requirements (if applicable).
Maintain a clean and safe working environment during inspections.
Ensure QC tools and instruments are calibrated and in working condition.
