Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Inspection – Incoming, In-Process & Final

• Conduct inspections of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.

• Ensure all goods meet specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

• Identify defects and communicate findings to production and purchase teams.

• Approve or reject materials based on quality guidelines.

2. Supervising QC Team

• Lead and guide QC inspectors/technicians.

• Allocate daily tasks and monitor inspection activities.

• Train team members on inspection methods, tools, and SOPs.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain QC reports, inspection checklists, rejection logs, and NCR (Non-Conformance Reports).

• Prepare daily/weekly quality MIS for management review.

• Ensure traceability and proper documentation for audits.

4. Process Control & Improvement

• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to SOPs.

• Work with production to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.

• Support development of new quality standards and continuous improvement.

5. Customer Complaint Handling

• Investigate quality issues reported by customers.

• Identify root causes and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).

• Coordinate with sales/service teams to provide resolutions.

6. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure quality standards are aligned with ISO/industry requirements (if applicable).

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment during inspections.

• Ensure QC tools and instruments are calibrated and in working condition.
