Key Responsibilities
Quality Inspection
• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and specifications as per drawings.
• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, and other inspection tools.
• Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming products.
• Approve products for the next process or dispatch after successful inspection.
Quality Auditing
• Conduct routine process and internal quality audits.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Verify inspection records, production documents, and quality reports.
• Identify non-conformities (NCs) and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
Process & Planning
• Monitor production processes to maintain consistent quality.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, and Dispatch teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support continuous process improvement to reduce defects and rework.
Dispatch Quality
• Perform final inspection before dispatch.
• Ensure only approved products are packed and dispatched.
• Verify inspection reports and dispatch documentation.
Documentation
• Maintain inspection reports, audit records, and quality documentation.
• Prepare daily and monthly quality reports.
• Support customer audits and ISO compliance activities.
Skills Required
• Knowledge of quality inspection and auditing procedures.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments.
• Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality reporting.
Qualification
• Diploma/ITI/Graduate in Mechanical, Production, or a related field.
• Experience in CNC/VMC or polymer manufacturing preferred.
