Minimum/General Experience. – 3–7 years of experience in QA/QC, specifically in industrial gas plants, petrochemicals, or piping projects. Minimum Education. - Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Core Job Responsibilities & Duties. - Documentation Control: Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements. Inspections & Testing: Conduct daily site inspections, witness welding, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), and hydro/pneumatic pressure tests. Welding Quality: Monitor welding activities (WPS/PQR), verify welder qualifications (WPQ), and ensure compliance with ASME codes. Material Certification: Verify Material Test Certificates (MTC 3.1/3.2) to ensure compliance with material specifications and check for correct storage and traceability. NCR Management: Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), identify root causes, and track corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Commissioning Support: Coordinate cleanliness checks, flushing, and drying of systems to prevent oxygen contamination. Client Coordination: Liaise with clients and Third-Party Inspection agencies (TPIA) for inspections and final document turnover.
