ob Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Quality Control Head who can own the entire quality function, not just audit reports. This role requires someone who understands shop-floor realities, enforces quality discipline, and reduces rejection, rework, and customer complaints—without excuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end quality control across incoming, in-process, and final inspection

• Develop, implement, and maintain QC systems, SOPs, and inspection plans

• Ensure compliance with ISO / customer quality standards (as applicable)

• Analyze rejection trends, root causes, and drive corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)

• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Stores to resolve quality issues

• Handle customer complaints, audits, and internal quality reviews

• Train and monitor QC inspectors and technicians on quality standards

• Ensure calibration and proper use of measuring instruments

• Prepare and present quality reports, dashboards, and MIS to management

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and cost of poor quality

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing quality processes

• Practical experience in QC tools (7 QC tools, root cause analysis, etc.)

• Ability to stand firm on quality decisions, even under production pressure

• Experience handling audits and customer interactions

• Good documentation, reporting, and communication skills

• Strong leadership and shop-floor control mindset

Qualification

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical, Production, or relevant discipline

Experience

• 4 to 6 years of relevant QC experience in a manufacturing setup

• Prior experience leading a QC team is mandatory

• It is a Full Time తయారీ job for candidates with 4 - 6 years of experience.
