Job Title: Quality Controller / Quality Inspection Supervisor (Footwear)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Controller / Quality Inspection Supervisor from the footwear (shoes) industry only, who can manage end-to-end quality inspection and also support raw material and vendor sourcing. The role will ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with footwear standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final quality inspection of footwear (cutting, stitching, lasting, finishing).

• Ensure quality standards for leather, PU, soles, adhesives, accessories, and finished shoes.

• Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

• Coordinate with production, merchandising, and sourcing teams to maintain quality consistency.

• Support vendor sourcing and evaluation for raw materials and components used in shoes.

• Monitor supplier quality performance and incoming material inspection.

• Maintain quality reports, inspection records, and SOP compliance.

• Reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.

Candidate Requirements (Mandatory)

• Experience only from Shoes / Footwear Industry (leather / PU / sports / casual / formal).

• Strong knowledge of footwear materials, construction, and quality checkpoints.

• Experience in quality inspection plus vendor/material sourcing.

• Ability to work on shop floor and coordinate with suppliers.

• Minimum 3–7 years relevant experience (can be adjusted).

Preferred Skills

• Vendor negotiation and sourcing understanding

• Knowledge of footwear quality standards and testing norms

• Problem-solving and team coordination
