Quality Control Engineer

Required Quality Control Engineer from sheet/ metal fabrication industry who can ensure products like steel structures, sheet metal parts, and welded assemblies meet stringent quality, safety, and performance standards through rigorous inspections and testing.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect incoming raw materials (MS, SS , alloys , hardware ) for compliance, monitor in-process fabrication stages including cutting, bending, welding, and assembly for defects.

Conduct dimensional accuracy checks using fabrication drawings, perform non-destructive testing (NDT: ultrasonic, radiographic), mechanical tests (tensile strength), and chemical analysis.

Identify non-conformances, lead root cause analysis ,implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and maintain detailed quality records.

Follow Audit processes,and collaborate with third-party inspectors and drive continuous improvement in quality in co-ordination with production teams .

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical ; certifications in NDT Level II and welding procedures are preferred.

4-6 years of experience in metal fabrication, sheet /metal  industry , or heavy fabrication plants .
