We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer to join our team at Goodson Contacts. The role involves inspecting raw materials and finished products, maintaining quality standards on the production floor, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming raw materials such as silver contacts, copper parts, rivets and bi-metal components

• Carry out in-process and final inspection of products as per drawings and company standards

• Measure dimensions, weight, finish and tolerances using Vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges

• Maintain quality records, inspection reports and rejection reports

• Identify defective products and coordinate corrective actions with production teams

• Ensure traceability, labeling and proper packing of finished products

• Maintain calibration and inventory records of measuring instruments

• Perform preventive checks to maintain quality standards and avoid defects

• Ensure safety, quality and ISO 9001:2015 procedures are followed on the shop floor

• Collaborate with production and tool room teams for process improvements and new product trials

Job Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: ITI / Diploma / 12th Pass

• 2 – 6+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality control or a related field

• Experience in metal parts, electrical contacts, rivets, switchgear or similar products preferred

• Ability to read basic drawings and use measuring instruments

• Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and record keeping preferred

• Good communication and teamwork skills

Salary:

₹20,000 – ₹30,000 in-hand per month
