We are hiring for Quality Engineer

Location: Mudugur Road, Mappedu Village(Chennai)

Experience: 4 8 Years

Salary: ₹25,000 ₹30,000 per month

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical or Electrical)

Job Description:

The Quality Engineer will ensure that manufactured products meet defined quality standards and customer requirements. The role involves inspection, quality control, defect prevention, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement within sheet metal manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of sheet metal components

• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards

• Monitor quality across cutting, bending, welding, finishing, and assembly processes

• Identify defects, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions

• Handle internal and customer quality issues, including rejections and complaints

• Maintain and close NCRs with proper documentation and corrective actions

• Use and maintain measuring instruments accurately

• Apply quality tools such as 7 QC tools, Kaizen, and Why-Why analysis

• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and audit documentation
