strong communication technical understanding, ability to coordinate with team and executive plans efficiently.to handle procurement of raw material and consumable, tooling etc.quick learner Key Responsibilities:Procurement ManagementSource and purchase raw materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, fasteners, cutting tools, etc.) and consumables for CNC/VMC operations.Obtain quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and finalize suppliers based on price, quality, and lead time.Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely follow-up with vendors for delivery.Vendor Development & ManagementIdentify and qualify new suppliers for cost reduction and quality improvement.Maintain supplier database and performance records (delivery, quality, price consistency).Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers.Inventory CoordinationCoordinate with the store and production departments to monitor stock levels.Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.Track and ensure delivery of urgent or critical materials.Documentation & ComplianceMaintain all purchase-related documentation (POs, GRNs, invoices, etc.) in ERP or manual system.Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.Coordinate with accounts for vendor payments and reconciliation.Cost & Process OptimizationContinuously evaluate suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.Support cost reduction initiatives and alternate sourcing strategies.Key Skills & Competencies:Strong negotiation and communication skillsGood understanding of engineering materials and machining consumablesBasic knowledge of CNC/VMC tooling and manufacturing processesFamiliarity with ERP or purchase management softwareVendor management and analytical skillsAttention to detail and follow-up disciplineQualifications & Experience:Education: Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (preferred)Experience: 1-2 years in purchase/procurement in a precision manufacturing or engineering setupPerformance Indicators (KPIs):On-time material availabilityCost savings achievedSupplier delivery & quality performanceInventory accuracy and turnover rate
