Vendor Sourcing & Management
Identify and evaluate vendors for IT products (servers, networking devices, storage, software licenses, etc.)
Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and suppliers
Compare quotations and negotiate pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules
Procurement Process
Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders
Ensure procurement aligns with project BOQ (Bill of Quantity) and technical specifications
Coordinate with sales and technical teams for accurate product selection
Cost Control & Negotiation
Negotiate best pricing, discounts, and payment terms
Monitor market trends and price fluctuations in IT products
Inventory & Logistics Coordination
Track order status and ensure timely delivery
Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams for inward materials
Maintain proper documentation (POs, invoices, GRNs, etc.)
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure purchases comply with company policies and project requirements
Maintain procurement records and vendor contracts
Project Support
Support project teams in urgent procurement requirements
Handle RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and warranty coordination
🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
2–5 years of experience in procurement (preferably in IT / System Integration industry)
Strong knowledge of IT hardware & networking products
Good negotiation and vendor management skills
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Zoho, etc.)
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under tight project deadlines
💼 Preferred Experience
Experience dealing with OEMs like Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Dell Technologies, Fortinet, Microsoft, etc.
Knowledge of networking, servers, storage, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions
