Project Lead - GRT Function Research & Development - Jaipur Pay Band M3 to M5 Role Project Lead - GRT A purpose driven role for you The primary reason this role exists is to represent and safeguard the company's interests during the formulation of automotive regulations. This includes: Leading technical and business analysis of new technologies (Safety, Emission, and Electrical) for two-wheelers (2W). Managing administrative and technical activities related to Central and State Government automotive policies. Disseminating legislative and regulatory proposals to internal stakeholders Represent & Safeguard the company's interests in Automotive Regulation formulation. Track & Analyse the technical documents of various Global regulation forums. MoCA - BIS (TED 04, TED 06, TED 07, TED29,TED-31,CED22.05 Helmet,) MoRTH (CMVR-TSC,AISC , Standard/Advisory/CMV Rule making etc.) SIAM (2W Technical Group, JAMA, Recycling MHI (EV Policy) MoEF&CC (EPR ,ELV,RVSF, Waste Management Rules) Delhi Transport Commissioner office (EV policy etc) Country Manager (Africa Markets) GEAR Update (Safety ,CMVR Subjects) EVENTs- SIAT-ARAI, Bio Fuel , EV Rally,IWG Risk Register Preparation Information dissemination, Track, communicate & document the legislative, administrative and regulatory proposals and requirements to internal stakeholders. Guide the technical team and a policy advocacy team to put forth the technical rationale for various proposal initiated to be included in various central and state level policy. Knowledge of current regulatory changes, policy issues and future technologies, etc. Sound knowledge of the various UN ECE / Other Global forum on subjects and should be able to build up communication channels for discussion of regulatory matters. A Day in the life Domestic & Global Regulations Stakeholder Engagement Risk Mitigation & Crisis Management strategy formation. Subordinate Development Academic Qualification & Experience B.Tech. (from a reputed engineering collages IIT, NIT or equivalent) Technical Skills/Knowledge Expertise in CMVR, UNECE, and global automotive regulations; strategy formulation for policy advocacy. Developing and formulating strategies for safeguarding HMCL interests in regulatory formulation. Knowledge of current policy issues and future technologies, etc. Create compelling arguments on current policy concerns by utilising facts/data/statistics/global examples. Behavioural Skills Strong analytical thinking, critical problem-solving, and excellent interpersonal skills.
