Production Manager

About the Role

Wellversed is looking for a Production Floor Supervisor to manage daily production operations and ensure smooth functioning of the manufacturing floor. The role involves production planning, manpower management, inventory coordination, process compliance, and maintaining quality, hygiene, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Execution

• Prepare daily and weekly production plans based on demand requirements.

• Coordinate with the sourcing team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and ingredients.

• Monitor production activities to ensure targets are achieved on time.

• Maintain records of production input, output, wastage, and work-in-progress (WIP).

2. Floor Operations & Team Management

• Ensure adequate manpower availability on the production floor.

• Assign tasks and monitor workforce performance to maximize productivity.

• Conduct training sessions to improve team efficiency and adherence to processes.

• Ensure smooth coordination between production teams and support functions.

3. Quality, Hygiene & Compliance

• Ensure production processes are followed as per established SOPs and R&D guidelines.

• Maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GHP (Good Hygiene Practices) standards on the production floor.

• Conduct regular checks related to floor maintenance, hygiene, and machinery readiness.

• Ensure workplace safety and cleanliness at all times.

4. Inventory & Process Improvement

• Implement inventory management practices such as FIFO and inventory aging.

• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and other teams to improve operational efficiency.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of production activities.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Food Manufacturing, Nutraceuticals, Pharmaceuticals, or related industries.

• Experience in production planning, floor management, and target achievement.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.

• Strong attention to detail and process discipline.

• Good manpower management and task delegation skills.

• It is a Full Time తయారీ job for candidates with 6 months - 4 years of experience.
