A Production Supervisor in a solar-based organization is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing, assembly, or installation operations related to solar products such as solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting structures, or solar power systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production activities and ensure targets are achieved

• Supervise workers and technicians on the production floor

• Ensure quality standards for solar components and systems

• Maintain safety procedures and compliance standards

• Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and quality teams

• Reduce production downtime and improve efficiency

• Prepare production reports and performance records

• Handle inventory and material utilization

• Train production staff on processes and safety

Required Skills

• Knowledge of solar PV systems and manufacturing processes

• Team handling and leadership ability

• Production planning and scheduling

• Quality control and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of electrical/mechanical systems

• ERP/software knowledge is often preferred

• Communication and reporting skills
