JOB DESCRIPTION – PRODUCTION MANAGER

Job Type: Full-time
Department: Production & Operations

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise daily production activities.

• Ensure production targets are achieved within timelines.

• Monitor product quality and maintain hygiene and food safety standards.

• Manage and lead the production team effectively.

• Allocate duties and ensure workforce productivity.

• Coordinate with procurement, inventory, warehouse, and other departments.

• Minimize wastage and optimize the use of raw materials.

• Maintain production records and daily reports.

• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of machinery and equipment.

• Implement and maintain company SOPs and production processes.

• Identify operational issues and work towards process improvement.

Skills & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of production planning and operations.

• Experience in Food, FMCG, Dairy, or Manufacturing industry preferred.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of inventory management and quality control.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

Experience

1-3 years of relevant experience in Production / Manufacturing / Food & FMCG Operations.
