Production Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Production Manager to lead and manage factory operations in a Modular Furniture, Kitchen, Wardrobe, and Interior Manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production planning, manufacturing processes, quality control, workforce management, and timely project deliveries while ensuring optimal productivity, efficiency, and cost control.

The candidate should have extensive experience in modular furniture production, woodworking, panel processing, CNC operations, assembly, finishing, and factory management.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Management

• Develop and implement production plans to meet project timelines and customer delivery commitments.

• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and factory resources.

• Coordinate with design, sales, procurement, and project teams for seamless production execution.

• Manage multiple production orders simultaneously while maintaining quality and delivery standards.

Manufacturing Operations

• Oversee the complete manufacturing process for modular kitchens, wardrobes, bathroom vanities, furniture, and customized interior products.

• Supervise cutting, edge banding, CNC machining, assembly, polishing, finishing, and packaging operations.

• Ensure production processes comply with company standards and manufacturing best practices.

• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Establish and maintain quality standards across all manufacturing stages.

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet approved specifications and customer requirements.

• Monitor production defects and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and factory compliance standards.

Team Leadership

• Lead, train, and motivate production supervisors, machine operators, carpenters, and factory staff.

• Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.

• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

• Manage workforce allocation and shift planning.

Inventory & Material Management

• Coordinate with procurement and stores teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and hardware.

• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.

• Maintain inventory control of boards, laminates, veneers, hardware, accessories, and finished goods.

• Ensure accurate production and stock records.

Cost Control & Process Improvement

• Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.

• Reduce rework, material wastage, and production downtime.

• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Optimize machine utilization and production workflows.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

• Track production KPIs, delivery schedules, and quality metrics.

• Maintain production records, machine maintenance logs, and quality reports.

• Present factory performance reports to senior management.
