Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
Monitor machine shop operations involving CNC and conventional machines.
Plan and allocate manpower effectively to ensure smooth production.
Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
Coordinate with the Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments.
Monitor fabrication and special manufacturing processes.
Minimize machine downtime by coordinating with the maintenance team.
Maintain production reports, machine utilization, and daily work records.
Implement and follow 5S, TPM, and other safety practices on the shop floor.
Train and guide operators to improve productivity and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Required Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
4–5 years of experience in a machine shop/manufacturing industry.
Good knowledge of CNC and conventional machines.
Experience in fabrication and special manufacturing processes.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle manpower and meet production deadlines.
