We are seeking a dynamic, result-driven, and experienced Spare Parts Manager to lead our dealership's spare parts department. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee end-to-end inventory management, parts procurement, warehouse operations, and counter sales.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of managing automotive spare parts with at least 5 years of dedicated managerial experience, ideally within a two-wheeler or automotive dealership environment. Your objective will be to maximize parts availability, optimize inventory turnover, drive revenue growth, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory & Stock Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels of 100% genuine TVS spare parts and accessories.

  • Monitor stock movement, implement effective inventory control measures, and minimize obsolete or dead stock.

  • Conduct periodic and annual physical stock audits to eliminate discrepancies and shrinkage.

• Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Manage timely ordering, receiving, and replenishment of parts from TVS authorized vendors and warehouses.

  • Forecast parts demand accurately based on historical sales data, seasonal trends, and workshop requirements.

• Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Drive counter sales (retail and wholesale) and meet internal dealership parts-revenue targets.

  • Support the internal service workshop by ensuring uninterrupted and timely supply of parts for vehicle servicing and repairs.

  • Implement promotional strategies and upselling techniques for accessories and lubricants (e.g., Tru4 Oil).

• Team Leadership & Administration:

  • Lead, train, and mentor the parts counter executives, pickers, and warehouse staff.

  • Monitor staff performance, set operational KPIs, and foster a customer-first work culture.

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safety-compliant storage facilities in line with company standards.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Mandatory Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Spare Parts Manager or in a senior inventory role within an automobile dealership (two-wheeler sector preferred).

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of automotive spare parts cataloging, numbering systems, and DMS (Dealer Management Systems) / ERP software.

• Skills:

  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills for demand forecasting and inventory tracking.

  • Customer-oriented mindset with solid negotiation and vendor management abilities.
