About the Role
We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and proactive Junior Manager to oversee production coordination at our partner manufacturing factory in Ambernath. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that orders run smoothly, timelines are met, and issues are resolved promptly. This position requires someone with strong manufacturing coordination experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Scheduling
• Work closely with factory Production Managers and Plant Managers to prepare and maintain production schedules.
• Ensure that all orders are aligned with their committed delivery dates.
• Track production progress and identify potential delays early.
2. Coordination with Head Office
• Communicate with the Head Office team in Lower Parel regarding order timelines, delivery dates, and production requirements.
• Visit the Head Office when necessary for meetings and updates.
3. Team Handling – QC & Packing Unit
• Manage a team of factory staff responsible for quality checking, packing, and dispatches.
• Ensure all finished goods are properly QC’d, packed securely, and handed over to the transporter in time.
• Maintain discipline, productivity, and coordination within the team.
4. Raw Material Coordination
• Work with Plant Managers to review raw material requirements.
• Ensure timely purchasing or requisition of raw materials to avoid production delays.
• Follow up proactively on pending material issues.
Performance Measurement
• Timely deliveries against lead times
• Smooth coordination between factory and Head Office
• Early identification and resolution of production issues
• Efficient management of the QC & packing team
• Contribution to maintaining a seamless production cycle
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in coordinating with or working inside manufacturing units
• Strong understanding of factory workflows and production coordination
