Production Manager

Working Hours:

9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (as per operational requirement)

Job Purpose

To lead and control end-to-end production operations, ensuring daily output targets are achieved with high quality, minimum wastage, proper manpower utilization, and timely dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 1. Production Planning & Execution

• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules

• Ensure achievement of production targets

• Monitor hourly production and take corrective actions

• Balance manpower and machines for maximum efficiency

🔹 2. Shop Floor Management

• Supervise production supervisors and operators

• Maintain discipline and workflow on shop floor

• Control absenteeism and idle time

• Ensure adherence to SOPs and safety standards

🔹 3. Quality Control Coordination

• Work closely with Quality team to maintain standards

• Reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints

• Take immediate action on process deviations

• Ensure no non-conforming material is dispatched

🔹 4. Material & Wastage Control

• Monitor raw material consumption

• Reduce scrap and improve yield

• Coordinate with Store for timely material availability

• Ensure proper material handling and storage

🔹 5. Process Improvement

• Identify bottlenecks and improve cycle time

• Implement productivity improvement initiatives

• Suggest automation or better process methods

• Lead continuous improvement activities

🔹 6. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily production reports

• Track KPIs (Target vs Actual, Rejection %, Downtime, Efficiency)

• Present performance updates to management

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and manpower handling ability

• Strong knowledge of production planning and control

• Understanding of quality standards and inspection processes

• Problem-solving and decision-making ability

• Good communication skills

• Basic knowledge of Excel / reporting tools

Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Electrical preferred)

Experience

• 3–6 years experience in manufacturing

• Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role

• It is a Full Time తయారీ job for candidates with 3 - 6+ years Experience.
