Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain product quality, and optimize production efficiency. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills, along with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Management

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities.

• Ensure production targets are achieved as per the planned schedule.

• Monitor production output, machine utilization, and workforce productivity.

• Coordinate with the Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments.

• Ensure timely completion of production orders.

2. Manpower Management

• Manage and supervise production supervisors, operators, and workers.

• Allocate manpower according to production requirements.

• Monitor employee performance and productivity.

• Train and guide team members to improve operational efficiency.

• Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to company policies.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure products meet defined quality standards and specifications.

• Coordinate with the Quality Department to minimize defects and rejections.

• Identify the root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

4. Machine & Material Management

• Ensure the proper utilization of machinery, equipment, and raw materials.

• Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to minimize machine breakdowns.

• Reduce material wastage, production losses, and downtime.

• Ensure adequate availability of raw materials for uninterrupted production.

5. Cost & Productivity Control

• Monitor production costs and work toward cost reduction.

• Improve production efficiency and overall operational performance.

• Implement process improvements to reduce wastage and increase output.

• Track production KPIs, including productivity, rejection rates, and downtime.

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety rules and manufacturing standards.

• Maintain proper housekeeping and workplace organization.

• Ensure workers follow safety procedures while operating machinery.

• Maintain production reports and other relevant documentation.

7. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

• Report production performance, challenges, and corrective actions to senior management.

• Coordinate with other departments to resolve production-related issues.

• Support management in achieving organizational production goals.
