Salary: ₹35,000 to ₹55,000 (In-hand per month, based on experience)

Job Summary:

Design House India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and responsible Furniture Factory Manager to oversee complete factory operations, production planning, workforce management, quality control, and timely dispatch of furniture projects.

The role requires strong knowledge of modular furniture manufacturing, carpentry processes, machine handling, raw material planning, and coordination with the project team to ensure smooth execution of orders.

This is a leadership position for someone who can efficiently manage factory operations while maintaining quality, productivity, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily factory operations including carpentry, cutting, polishing, and assembly
• Plan and manage production schedules as per project timelines
• Supervise factory staff, carpenters, machine operators, and helpers
• Ensure proper utilization of raw materials (plywood, MDF, laminates, hardware, etc.)
• Maintain quality control standards for all furniture items
• Coordinate with the purchase and project teams for material and dispatch planning
• Monitor machinery maintenance and ensure smooth functioning of equipment
• Control production costs and minimize material wastage
• Maintain inventory records and stock management
• Ensure workplace safety and discipline within the factory
• Prepare daily/weekly production reports for management

Requirements:

• 4 to 8 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or factory management
• Strong knowledge of modular furniture production processes
• Experience in handling cutting machines, edge banding machines, panel saw, polishing units, etc.
• Good understanding of materials, hardware fittings, and finishing standards
• Strong team management and leadership skills
• Ability to plan production targets and meet deadlines
• Basic knowledge of BOQs and production drawings
• Diploma/Degree in Interior, Production, Mechanical, or related field (preferred)
