Production Head – Fabrication Plant

Required Experience & Expertise:

The candidate must have proven experience in the following areas:

• Light Fabrication

o MS, SS, and Aluminium sheet metal fabrication

o Cutting, bending, forming, welding, and finishing processes

• Heavy Engineering Fabrication

o Steel plant fabrication

o PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) structures

o Heavy structural and industrial fabrication works

• Strong knowledge of engineering drawing study and interpretation

• Complete understanding of all fabrication-related processes

• Expertise in process management and production planning

• Experience in production setup and production line development

• Effective manpower planning, handling, and productivity management

• Sound knowledge of quality control, inspection, and safety practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for production operations of the fabrication plant

• Planning and execution of production schedules to meet quality and delivery commitments

• Ensuring timely delivery of quality products

• Managing production teams and optimizing manpower utilization

• Coordination with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Stores departments

• Continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and cost control

• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety norms

Key Technical Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong expertise in engineering drawing study and interpretation

• In-depth understanding of:

o Fabrication processes

o Welding processes (MIG, TIG, Arc, etc.)

o Machining & assembly operations

• Complete knowledge of end-to-end fabrication workflows

• Ability to plan and execute process management and optimization

• Experience in production setup and production line layout

• Knowledge of quality standards, inspection methods, and documentation

• Understanding of safety, compliance, and industry best practices
