Production Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Associate specializing in Menswear

Fittings ,Measurements to support our garment production team.

This role focuses on precise garment measurement, fit evaluation, and quality control to ensure all menswear products meet brand standards, sizing specifications, and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of menswear construction, tailoring principles, and measurement standards.

Key Responsibilities

Garment Measurement & Fit Accuracy

 Take and verify detailed garment measurements according to company size charts

and technical specifications.

 Conduct fittings on fit models and assist in evaluating garment balance, proportion,

and comfort.

 Identify and document fit issues (e.g., sleeve pitch, rise balance, shoulder slope,

chest ease).

 Ensure consistency across production batches and size ranges.

Fitting Coordination

 Prepare garments for fittings (steaming, tagging, organizing by size/style).

 Assist designers and technical teams during fit sessions.

 Record fitting notes and update measurement charts accordingly.

 Track revisions and ensure corrections are implemented in subsequent samples.

Quality Control

 Inspect finished garments for measurement accuracy and construction quality.

 Compare production samples against approved fit samples.

 Flag inconsistencies and collaborate with pattern makers and production teams for

corrections.

Technical Documentation

 Maintain measurement logs, grading specs, and fit comments.

 Update tech packs with measurement changes when necessary.

 Ensure all documentation aligns with production timelines and standards.

Qualifications

 2+ years of experience in garment production, tailoring, or technical design

(menswear preferred).

 Strong understanding of menswear sizing, grading, and garment construction.

 Ability to accurately use measuring tools (tape measure, rulers, measurement

templates).

 Knowledge of fabrics and how material composition affects fit.

 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

 Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Skills

 Background in tailoring or pattern making.

 Understanding of international menswear size standards.

 Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
